Position Overview:
The City Manager's Office is in search of a proactive and enthusiastic Management Analyst to contribute to our dedicated team. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, ranging from foundational to advanced tasks in areas such as communications, public engagement, financial oversight, budget analysis, and administrative support, all of which are vital to our department's success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the City’s communication initiatives, including the creation and coordination of social media content, preparation and editing of newsletters, and updating departmental web pages.
- Manage and execute assigned programs, agreements, requests for proposals, and various special projects.
- Conduct research and provide administrative support to ensure the department operates efficiently.
- Engage in project and policy analysis by performing research, identifying key issues, and summarizing findings.
- Assist in budget preparation, analysis, and management.
- Prepare materials for City Council agenda items, reports, and grant applications.
- Deliver presentations to diverse audiences, effectively conveying essential information.
- Collaborate with team members on departmental programs, projects, and activities.
- Undertake additional related duties as required.

Essential Knowledge:
- Familiarity with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, codes, rules, and regulations.
- Understanding of community outreach principles.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and contract management practices.
- Proficiency in research and statistical methods, project management, and analytical techniques.
- Skills in report writing and effective communication.

Required Skills:
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Experience in developing requests for proposals and managing budgets.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and manage compliance with governmental regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with colleagues and the public.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field along with three years of related professional experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential duties of the position. A Master’s degree is preferred.
