Job Title: Operational Risk Senior Officer

Join Citigroup as an Operational Risk Senior Officer and play a key role in identifying and mitigating operational risks that could impact our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and oversee the application of operational risk policies, technology, and tools to minimize losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.
  • Independently assess risks and drive actions to address the root causes of operational risk losses by challenging historical and proposed practices.
  • Provide governance and oversight, including technology operational risk, cyber risk, and performance issues that surface.
  • Resolves transactional level escalations from vendors or internal partners and analyzes scorecards to mitigate exposure.
  • Monitors goals through performance, risk, and relationship oversight of our extended supply chain and ensures compliance.
  • Collaborates to resolve issues within contract terms and escalates those requiring commercial or legal support.
  • Develops and maintains relationships across business users and Lines of Defense to understand and deliver customer requirements.
  • Assesses risk when business decisions are made, considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization and with external partners and vendors.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, addressing and resolving conflict while maintaining relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mortgage Servicing Operational processes and technology platforms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience.
  • Detailed-oriented with analytical skills, handling large amounts of data manipulation and presentation.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Third Party Oversight/Vendor Oversight experience preferred.
Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
