Job Opportunity at Boson Health

Boson Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional quality care to our patients. The position offers a unique blend of clinical responsibilities, with approximately half of the time spent in our outpatient vascular access center in Clear Lake and the other half dedicated to dialysis rounds in the Med Center area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-operative and post-operative care for vascular access patients
  • Vein mapping and ultrasound readings for optimal treatment planning
  • Performance of interventional nephrology procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Conducting comprehensive history and physicals, as well as follow-up visits for research patients
  • Nephrology clinic rounds to monitor patient progress and address any concerns

Dialysis Rounds:

  • Visiting patients in dialysis units to monitor their progress and address any needs

Requirements:

  • Current Physician Assistant license
  • Current BLS certificate
  • Current DEA and DPS certificate
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical processes, community agencies, professional programs, and resources
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced assessment, consultative, and teaching skills
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
