Job SummaryFirst Communications is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Manager to join our team. As a Channel Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales opportunities with designated partners, providing accurate and updated sales funnel, and participating in joint sales calls to customers. You will also be responsible for escalating any pricing, SLA or other issues as needed, managing market development funds requests and claims, coordinating local partner participation in events and training, and coordinating partner access to Sales Engineering, Field Marketing and overlay resources as appropriate. Additionally, you will assist partners in broadening their product expertise and sales opportunities, striving for growth of Business Partners and Sub-Agents, and driving product and promotional programs. Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting and exceeding a monthly sales quota
  • Keeping all partners profiled
  • Maintaining an up-to-date sales funnel
  • Attendance of First Comm conference calls, as designated by management
  • Reading of all First Comm communications and maintaining a high level of knowledge on all First Comm products, programs and promotions
  • A high level of knowledge of the features and benefits and requirements of the First Communications Agent Program and the ability to articulate it to partners along with the First Comm value proposition
Requirements
  • Historical and documented attainment of sales quota
  • Experience working and supporting indirect or partner-based sales programs
  • Telecommunications field sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational ability
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in technology sales or marketing required
  • 4-year College degree in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration is preferred
