Job Title: Epic Billing Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Billing Analyst to join our team at South Central Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our professional billing team, you will be responsible for building and supporting professional billing applications within our electronic health record system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary support contact for professional billing applications and end-users.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise in the application area and impact other application teams.
  • Guide workflow design, build, and test the system, and analyze technical issues associated with Epic Wisconsin software.
  • Implement requested changes to the system and serve as a liaison between end-users' workflow needs and Epic Wisconsin staff.
  • Maintain regular communication with Epic Wisconsin representatives and work with them to ensure the system meets our business needs.
  • Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for our workflows by attending site visits and integrated sessions.
  • Participate in training and work with end-users to troubleshoot problems and questions.
  • Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.

Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in professional billing, required.
  • Ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
