Job Summary:South Central Health System is seeking a highly skilled EpicCare Inpatient Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will be responsible for building and supporting contact for ordering and infection control applications within the electronic health record.
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as the primary support contact for the application's end users.
Identifying issues that arise in their application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and working to resolve them.
Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic (Wisconsin) software.
Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system.
Serving as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic (Wisconsin) staff.
Maintaining regular communication with Epic (Wisconsin) representatives.
Working with Epic (Wisconsin) representatives and organization stakeholders to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs including deliverables and timelines.
Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessions.
Participating in training and working with end users.
Troubleshooting problems and questions.
Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Participating in weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones.
Requirements:
RT or RRT, required.
One year experience in respiratory, required.
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter experts.
Ability and willingness to learn new software and systems.
Ability to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures.
Attain assigned EPIC (WISCONSIN) Certification(s) within 90 days of employment.
