Job Title: RN- Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled RN- Analyst to join our team at South Central Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the implementation and maintenance of our electronic health record system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary support contact for the application's end-users.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise in the application area and impact other application teams.
  • Guide workflow design, build, and test the system, and analyze technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Implement requested changes to the system.
  • Serve as a liaison between end-users' workflow needs and Epic staff.
  • Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives.
  • Work with Epic representatives and organization stakeholders to ensure the system meets business needs.
  • Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for workflows.
  • Participate in training and work with end-users.
  • Troubleshoot problems and questions.
  • Review project status and issues with leadership.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate flexibility with changing end-user business needs.
  • Ability to see things from multiple angles and examine ideas from different perspectives.
  • Take ownership of work activities and ensure they are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.
  • Recognize assignments or tasks that need to be completed and help others.
  • Communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Listen attentively and ensure accurate understanding.
  • Seek, examine, and interpret information to determine problem causes and develop solutions.
  • Persevere in difficult situations and reach high levels of performance under stressful work conditions.

Education and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse, required.
  • Two years operating room or procedural nursing experience, required.
  • Attain assigned EPIC (WISCONSIN) Certification(s) within 90 days of employment.
