South Central Health System is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Tech- Analyst to join our team.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Tech- Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for pharmacy applications within the electronic health record. This role will act as a subject matter resource for EHR application integration with other clinical applications and information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary support contact for pharmacy application end users.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise in the application area and impact other application teams.
  • Guide workflow design, build, and testing of the system, and analyze technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Implement requested changes to the system.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic staff.
  • Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives.
  • Work with Epic representatives and organization stakeholders to ensure the system meets business needs.
  • Develop an understanding of operational needs to set direction for workflows.
  • Participate in training and work with end users.
  • Troubleshoot problems and questions.
  • Review project status and issues with leadership.
  • Participate in weekly communications with team members.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification, required.
  • Two years hospital-based pharmacy experience, required.
  • Attain assigned EPIC Certification(s) within 90 days of employment.
