Senior Business Development Director

A client in Southern California is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director of Operations to lead all proposal and contracting processes. This role involves overseeing contract negotiations, capture planning, and win strategy, as well as managing technical proposal writing and compliance matrixes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Defense and Aerospace contracting, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Business Development, technical writing, or capture management. The role requires occasional travel to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract negotiations and capture planning efforts.
- Develop and implement proposal compliance matrixes.
- Manage technical proposal writing and development.
- Oversee all proposal and contracting processes.
- Ensure timely proposal delivery and compliance with DFARS/TINA regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Development, technical writing, or capture management within Defense and Aerospace contracting.
- Strong understanding of FAR/DFAR/TINA regulations.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
