Transactional Paralegal for Real Estate

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Transactional Paralegal to join our team. This role involves managing transactions from start to finish, leading projects, and interacting heavily with clients. Key qualifications include knowledge of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, strong project management skills, and experience in client communication.

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze surveys, title commitments, and exception documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Draft and prepare title objection letters and responses based on consultation with and review by attorneys.
  • Prepare documents relating to real estate, loan, and construction matters, including purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and standard construction contracts.
  • Prepare ancillary real estate transaction documents, such as escrow instructions, deeds, easements, owner's affidavits, closing certificates, and resolutions.
  • Provide general assistance in real estate, lending, construction, and leasing transactions.
  • Draft corporate, limited liability company, and partnership resolutions for review by attorneys.
  • Draft corporate, limited liability company, and partnership formation and organizational documents, and file formation documents with relevant authorities.
  • Maintain entity files and assist clients with compliance issues.
  • Analyze entity structure for compliance with the Corporate Transparency Act.
  • Analyze and summarize documents for review by attorneys.
  • Work closely with attorneys to resolve day-to-day issues and support a broad range of commercial transactions and projects.
  • Perform legal due diligence, including ordering and reviewing UCC, judgment, and lien searches, zoning letters, and environmental reports.
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments to consistently provide high-quality work product within stated deadlines.
  • Draft, update, and maintain spreadsheets to track status of transactions and/or pending agreements.
  • Assist with management of closing process, including compilation of execution documents and communication with all parties to transactions.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a transactional Paralegal role.
  • Commercial real estate experience required.
