Job Description

Job Summary

RHP Properties is seeking a highly skilled Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufactured home community in Wichita, KS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the community's administration, personnel, and maintenance to ensure a safe and profitable environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily collection of monthly rentals, late fees, and other revenue streams.
  • Pursue delinquent rents and perform evictions in accordance with state and landlord laws.
  • Lead and motivate onsite staff to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Inspect community grounds and homes to maintain a presentable appearance.
  • Manage maintenance staff through the use of the Maintenance Work Order system.
  • Process and approve invoices, maintain petty cash, and track expenses and receipts.
  • Maintain employee files, timesheets, and records to ensure accurate compensation and benefits.
  • Analyze and audit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to address any issues or incorrect information.
  • Manage accidents, emergency situations, and immediate mechanical needs, reporting to the corporate office immediately and preparing proper reports.
  • Remain aware of safety issues and administer corrective measures to ensure a safe working and living environment.
  • Build relationships with residents and respond to their needs.
  • Coordinate advertising, promotions, and presentations of homes as directed by the Regional Manager.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of property management experience with proven management skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Detailed-orientated and the ability to multitask and problem solve.
  • Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook; MRI experience preferred.
  • Ability to be flexible and work evenings and weekends.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Operator's license required.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
