Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures to evaluate patient respiratory function and response to treatment.
- Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation as needed.
- Document patient assessment and treatment plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Associated degree from an accredited respiratory program.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist certification issued by the NBRC.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner certification issued by the Texas Medical Board.
- 1 year experience in an acute care facility preferred; new grads with licensing complete will be considered.
- Ability to work nights and rotation weekends.
