Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Responsibilities- Perform general respiratory therapy to all ages, including incentive breathing devices, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, and suctioning.
- Evaluate diagnostic studies, including bedside spirometry, pulmonary mechanics, and blood gas analysis.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
- Accountable for delivering quality respiratory services and promoting a positive image of the department.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) issued by the NBRC.
- Respiratory Care Certification issued by the Texas Medical Board.
- 1 year of experience in an acute care facility preferred; licensed new grads will be considered.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
