We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a CRT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory care department.

About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist will work under the direction of the Medical Director and Clinical Supervisor, assessing, treating, and caring for patients with acute and chronic respiratory abnormalities. You will be responsible for providing care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety, and related criteria for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care
  • Minimum of one year hospital-based experience preferred
  • CRT licensed issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care
  • Current license to practice respiratory care by the State of Texas Department of Health required
