Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate, articulate, and oversee RegScale's machine learning strategy, focusing on both internal applications and core product functionalities.
  • Keep abreast of cutting-edge advancements in AI/ML that could influence RegScale's offerings.
  • Design and implement innovative AI/ML features for our product suite.
  • Enhance AI/ML integration for RegScale clients across our platform.
  • Create testing and validation frameworks to ensure compliance-focused AI/ML technologies operate effectively.
  • Develop internal tools for managing machine learning systems, including but not limited to Large Language Models and various algorithmic solutions.
  • Construct new machine learning models utilizing RegScale's proprietary datasets to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Devise new tools and subsystems to incorporate machine learning technologies into RegScale's core offerings.
  • Generate unique features and models that solidify our leadership in the risk and compliance sector.
  • Produce technical content for AI/ML-focused publications, showcasing RegScale's expertise in the field.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and cloud service providers to implement state-of-the-art AI/ML models.
  • Manage scheduled tasks to update and enhance synthetic data generation.
  • Support containerized applications within the RegScale SaaS framework.
  • Deliver on assigned user stories within an Agile project management framework.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Prepare technical documentation in Markdown or similar formats.
  • Ensure timely delivery of customer-focused deliverables.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, a non-degree candidate with a minimum of 20 years of experience in IT, specifically in Python, AI, and ML development, along with relevant certifications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
  • Preferred candidates will possess AI and Data Science-related certifications.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen capable of passing background checks and drug testing.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with some presence in the Knoxville, TN R&D office.
