This mid-level position oversees capital construction projects, ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion. Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of capital construction projects from an Owner's Agency perspective, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and project specifications.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules and budgets, effectively tracking progress and identifying potential risks or deviations.
  • Review and analyze critical construction documents, including product submittals, change orders, budget reports, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct thorough site observations of ongoing construction projects, documenting findings and ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and address any arising issues.
  • Review design plans for technical accuracy and alignment with campus building codes and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of preliminary estimates and schedules for future projects, providing valuable insights for strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
