About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure cloud-based systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based systems using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud computing and AWS.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
