About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Fargate placement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating highly scalable distributed services that enable our customers to run their applications at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables
  • Lead and participate in interesting projects, helping grow and mentor others on the team
  • Collaborate with teams across AWS to build features only possible at AWS scale
  • Operate a public AWS service with globally distributed customers and servers
  • Use data to make decisions and validate assumptions
  • Learn from others and help grow those in your team to achieve their best
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
