Job Title: Residential Counselor

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team at COMHAR, Inc. Our Community Residential Rehabilitation Services (CRRS) provide a supportive and structured living environment for individuals with mental health needs.

Job Summary:

The Residential Counselor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions, supervising residents' daily activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of our clients. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to residents, focusing on life skills, social skills, and emotional well-being.
  • Supervise residents' daily activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the facility and its residents.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident progress and program activities.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and supportive living environment.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in human services or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months to 1 year of related mental health experience.
  • Valid PA driver's license required.
