Residential Counselor Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor II to join our Community Residential Rehabilitation Services (CRRS) team at COMHAR, Inc. in North Philadelphia. As a Residential Counselor II, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to clients with mental health needs, promoting their independence and self-determination within a structured living environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and provide case management for CRRS clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans, incorporating counseling sessions, group activities, and daily living skills training.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of client progress, including progress notes, residential service plans, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure continuity of program activities and maintain a safe and secure living environment.
- Participate in mandatory training and adhere to internal and external regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Associate's degree in human services or a related field.
- High school diploma/GED plus 6 months to 1 year of related mental health experience.
- Valid PA driver's license required.
