Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to align services with organizational goals and uphold core values.
  • Deliver in-depth subject matter expertise while being prepared to engage in hands-on tasks.
  • Support technical marketing initiatives and provide thought leadership.
  • Develop and execute the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy effectively.
  • Engage with key accounts to establish credibility and design robust technical solutions.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including presentations, diagrams, and cost estimates.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure alignment with current and future technologies.
  • Participate in customer strategy meetings to articulate both business and technical strategies.
  • Assess designs and opportunities, producing necessary architectural documentation.
  • Collaborate with partners to stay abreast of technology trends and manage the complete solution lifecycle.
  • Act as the Design Authority for designated key accounts.
  • Contribute as a technical designer on large-scale, mission-critical projects.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on future technologies and services.
  • Conduct research and produce white papers to showcase Computacenter's offerings.
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge through continuous learning.
  • Manage customer demonstrations and Proofs of Concept effectively.
  • Develop service offerings that leverage newly released products, ensuring validity of functionality claims.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are effective and meet client requirements.
  • Embrace and promote Computacenter's mission and core values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in presales engineering and solution development.
  • Broad understanding of technology and adaptability to new advancements.
  • Experience in technology implementation is preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more technology areas such as enterprise infrastructure, data center operations, cybersecurity, collaboration, or hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Ability to engage clients and deliver compelling solutions architecture presentations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant vendor certifications are advantageous.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
  • Capability to design complex technical solutions in detail.
  • Industry-recognized qualifications in relevant technology areas.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technology and its business applications.
  • Proven ability to contribute to commercial and technical documentation and develop solution-specific business cases.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge in a specialized technology domain.
  • Understanding of service methodologies.
  • Vendor certifications are a plus.
