About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions for our customers.

You will work closely with our customers to understand their business challenges and provide advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud. Your expertise in cloud computing, infrastructure, and security will be essential in helping our customers achieve successful business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions for customers
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business challenges and provide advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud
  • Collaborate with AWS Sales and other AWS teams to help address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services
  • Provide expertise in cloud computing, infrastructure, and security to help customers achieve successful business outcomes
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data & analytics
  • 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
  • Preferred qualification: 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs
