About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our customers. You will work closely with our sales team to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and customer adoption of our cloud services.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Formulating and executing sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS cloud services.
  • Ensuring success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Educating customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and participating in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Capturing and sharing best-practice knowledge across the AWS Solutions Architect community.
  • Authoring or contributing to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and blog posts.
  • Building deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  • Acting as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced technologist who possesses a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting and a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

The successful candidate will be comfortable at the intersection of technology and business and will have a broad understanding of cloud computing, software development, and infrastructure. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
