Position Summary:

The Office Operations Coordinator III plays a crucial role in managing office functions, conducting research, and preparing specialized reports. This position is responsible for developing, updating, and recommending administrative policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor.

This role adheres to state and federal regulations as well as institutional policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Conducts research and analyzes data relevant to work programs and/or institutional objectives, preparing comprehensive reports that detail findings and recommendations.

Assists in the formulation or revision of policies, procedures, and directives based on research outcomes; submits these for supervisory approval. Gathers financial data utilized by the supervisor to create budget proposals and monitors expenditures to ensure efficient operational performance. Reviews, responds to, or drafts correspondence related to institutional programs. Interprets administrative directives, policies, and procedures to guarantee consistent application. Provides information, assistance, and clarifications to stakeholders regarding institutional programs, policies, and procedures. Aids the supervisor by maintaining leave records, managing the appointment calendar, and prioritizing incoming correspondence. May oversee a small to medium-sized administrative support team and assess the performance of team members. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of mathematical and statistical principles and practices. Familiarity with research and analytical techniques and methodologies. Understanding of relevant work-related subject areas. Proficiency in computer applications and software. Ability to prepare, present, and review both oral and written information and reports. Competence in researching and analyzing related work program data. Capability to develop, recommend, interpret, and implement policies and procedures. Skill in analyzing financial records and generating reports. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of others.

Required Education and Experience:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field; plus three years of experience in a specialized or related field applicable to the work performed.

Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruitment purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management.
