Operations Coordinator – AEGIS GENERAL ENERGY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in-office in a hybrid capacity.
  • Deliver exceptional service and prompt responses to our select agency partners.
  • Perform data entry across various online systems.
  • Handle incoming calls efficiently.
  • Respond to all emails in a timely manner.
  • Assist with daily operational tasks as assigned.
  • Manage policy issuance, including taking underwriting binds and processing them into policies.
  • Prepare Federal and State filings according to state regulations.
  • Process endorsements and utilize IMS for issuing endorsements.
  • Address errors related to DMV, bound accounts, and ensure all insurance documentation is submitted to the local DMV, which may involve manual entries across multiple platforms.
  • Handle cancellations and non-renewals.
  • Collect driver information for additional drivers and input data into the IMS system for underwriting purposes.

Required Hard Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly typing proficiency and advanced Excel capabilities.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a commercial Customer Service Representative for a commercial lines insurance agency or 2 years' experience as an underwriting assistant at a Managing General Agent (MGA) or insurance company.

Compensation: $21.64 USD per hour
