We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee operations within our facility. The Supervisor will play a vital role in managing the organization and workflow of the Disposable Cylinder Department, ensuring that work orders are completed accurately and on time in alignment with production requirements, while also monitoring stock levels of essential materials. This position is essential for maintaining timely production schedules and adhering to safety and organizational protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify correct valve alignment prior to each shift commencement
  • Supervise proper shutdown procedures at the conclusion of each shift
  • Authorize work orders at the start of the shift
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness within the department
  • Monitor work areas to mitigate safety risks
  • Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance activities
  • Manage inventory levels for chemicals and materials
  • Document and report daily production metrics
Additional Duties:
  • Comply with safety regulations and standards
  • Immediately report any safety incidents
  • Engage in regular training sessions
  • Coordinate with other departments for operational efficiency
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance processes
  • Support assigned tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in production management is preferred
  • Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications
  • Willingness to participate in training as required
Working Environment:
  • Physical activity is required, including lifting and moving heavy items
  • Work is performed in varying environmental conditions
  • Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory as needed
