Job Summary

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a nuclear medicine trained physician to join the Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics Section. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services in nuclear medicine, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, at UCSF Moffitt/Long and Mission Bay Hospitals, and other UCSF Health and affiliated sites.
  • Supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology training program.
  • Contribute to building a strong academic career and excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
Requirements
  • MD degree (or equivalent) and ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California.
  • Completion of specialty training in Nuclear Medicine leading to certification by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (or eligible).
  • Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission.
