Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in the Nuclear Medicine Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of nuclear medicine procedures, including diagnostic studies and procedures, under the direction of a physician. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including diagnostic studies and procedures, under the direction of a physician.
  • Assess patient status and identify patient care requirements relative to the patient's age-specific needs.
  • Document all diagnostic studies or other patient procedures and other relevant information per department and hospital policy/procedure and professionally established protocols.
  • Participate in staff, departmental, safety, infection and haz-mat control in-services and meetings.
  • Perform all technical tasks in a courteous and respectful manner toward patients, co-workers, other hospital staff, and members of the community who utilize our services and facilities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of nuclear medicine technology.
  • Minimum of one year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Current licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in California (CNMT).
  • Current Certification in Basic Life Saving (BLS).
