Position Overview:
- An excellent opportunity exists for a combined role as a Nursing Assistant (NA) and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) within a renowned healthcare institution.
- Become part of a committed team that ensures exceptional patient care while facilitating smooth operations in the pediatric intensive care unit.
- Support healthcare professionals during examinations, procedures, and various patient care activities.
- Monitor patient records and promptly communicate any notable changes.
- Carry out administrative tasks, manage workload, transcribe medical orders, and maintain patient documentation.
- Deliver clinical assistance, operate office equipment, participate in patient care tasks, and support the orientation of new staff members.
- Engage in patient education and reinforce the information provided during care.
- A High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Must be registered as Nurse Aide I with the relevant health department.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Previous experience in clerical roles or customer service, along with nursing assistant experience, is essential.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English is necessary.
