Respiratory Care Specialist

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients in alternate sites, including home settings, in accordance with AdaptHealth's policies and procedures.
- Utilize a range of respiratory equipment and technologies to deliver preventative, rehabilitative, and palliative care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Conduct clinical assessments and provide recommendations to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain inventory control of respiratory supplies.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and caregivers on respiratory care and equipment use.
- Perform in-services to hospital staff, referrals, and other professionals on respiratory equipment and clinical issues.
- Document patient information and care plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Associate degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program.
- Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch, or an Associate degree in Nursing, with a valid and unrestricted LPN or RN clinical license.
- CPR certification.
- One (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
