Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Base. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine therapies to aid in the treatment, diagnosis, and evaluation of cardiopulmonary status.
  • Initiate, monitor, evaluate, and wean invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
  • Assess patients clinically before and after the administration or application of any medication, procedure, or device.
  • Monitor, assess, educate, and document the patient and/or family on therapies, medications, goals of therapies, and equipment during treatment.
  • Respond to emergent care situations in the hospital and assist with resuscitation.
  • Transport adult patients on mechanical ventilators, non-invasive ventilation devices, and critically ill to intrahospital procedures and testing.
  • Provide developmentally appropriate care to support the various patient populations during their hospitalization.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
  • NH Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) with The National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Approved CPR or BLS.
Work Environment

This is a full-time contract position with a competitive hourly rate of $63.00. The expected hours of work are 36-40 per week, with a night shift schedule.
