General Expectations:

- Must comply with all regulations regarding the secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI). Annual training and adherence to the UH Code of Conduct are mandatory.
Educational Background:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Required Credentials and Licenses:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
- Valid license to practice respiratory therapy in Ohio.
Preferred Experience:
This position is focused on specialized care in a nursery setting, supporting women in labor and assisting with infant resuscitation during deliveries. A minimum of two years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and participation in deliveries is preferred. The work schedule consists of day shifts from Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays. Travel to the main campus may be required to maintain skills.
Incentives:
Employees working 35 hours or more may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of $10,000, distributed as follows: $3,000 after 90 days of employment and $7,000 after one year, contingent on performance.
