Job Title: Program Manager, Community Health

The University of Wyoming is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our Community Health initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and implementing programs that promote health and wellness in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement program strategies to promote health and wellness in our community
  • Manage and supervise program staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance
  • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to identify and address health needs
  • Develop and manage program budgets, including securing funding and managing resources
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as public health, health education, or a related field
  • 4-5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a community health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with project management and budgeting
  • Knowledge of community health issues and trends
