ICF seeks an experienced Health Services Specialist to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs in delivering high-quality health services to young children and their families. The successful candidate will provide training and technical assistance to programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and promoting a culture of learning that fosters school readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on comprehensive health services, including mental health and environmental health and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies for engaging staff and families around health issues.
  • Aggregate, analyze, and disseminate regional and grantee health data to identify emerging trends.
  • Develop and provide presentations and training on early childhood health, mental health, safety, and related topics.
  • Support emerging OHS initiatives and priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, maternal and child health, health administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years' experience in health services in early childhood programs, including Head Start/Early Head Start, maternal and child health, school health, or community health programs.
  • Experience analyzing health-related data and providing training and technical assistance on health services for children birth to five.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
