Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to employees regarding inquiries and direct them to MyHR for appropriate support.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition to coordinate interviews for plant hourly positions with the Hiring Team.
- Act as the Hiring Team coordinator, ensuring team members receive adequate training and assessing their effectiveness.
- Manage employee data within Workday, including new hire information and other relevant records.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new employees, including scheduling orientations and drug screenings.
- Coordinate with departments to manage temporary staffing needs and track hours worked.
- Support managers in utilizing Workday by providing training on new tools and features.
- Ensure compliance with Shaw's Records and Retention policies by managing HR files appropriately.
- Organize employee engagement events such as Pride Day, Veteran's Day, and Family Day.
- Generate reports from Workday as required and assist with exit interviews when necessary.
- Conduct informational meetings with employees to enhance their understanding of benefits and programs.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency in various software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
- Flexibility to work across all three shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Previous HR experience is advantageous.
