Position Summary:

We are looking for a proactive individual to manage service coordination, assist with parts sales, and support technicians as required. Key Responsibilities:

Rental Operations:

  • Oversee the check-in and check-out procedures for forklift rentals.
  • Coordinate with clients to arrange rental deliveries and returns.
  • Collaborate with Rental Coordinators to ensure precise documentation of rental contracts and equipment conditions.

Parts Sales and Distribution:

  • Assist clients in identifying and procuring the correct forklift components.
  • Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to guarantee timely replenishment.
  • Process parts sales orders and organize prompt delivery to clients.

Service Technician Coordination:

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostic evaluations on various forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic challenges.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Confirm that all safety features are operational before releasing equipment to clients.

Customer Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding rentals, parts inquiries, and service requests.
  • Address client concerns, provide information, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work alongside the sales team to identify potential upselling opportunities.

General Office and Facility Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance and care of the facility's interior and exterior to ensure it remains clean, safe, and functional, including daily tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waste removal.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or a related field is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, preferably within the forklift or equipment rental sector.
  • Familiarity with forklift components and their applications.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in office software for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
