Job Title: Product Manager



Job Summary:



The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the achievement of key marketing functional goals across the Veritor portfolio. This role will influence the development and execution of product line plans, contribute to US product planning and strategy, and manage a portion of the marketing expense budget to drive top-line sales performance.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop marketing plans for assigned products to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies.
  • Serve as the main point of communication with US field-based associates, including sales, distribution, and national accounts.
  • Manage and implement advertising strategy, including content development and publication coordination.
  • Effectively leverage digital marketing to extend customer reach and engagement across the buying process.
  • Support the launch of new products, including management of the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Aid in the forecasting and budgeting process, including sales analysis, funnel reviews, and implementation updates.
  • Lead pricing function for assigned product lines, including analysis and loading.
  • Support key functional responsibilities for the clinical microbiology platform, including RFP responses, calculator updates, cross-reference analyses, contract approvals, product life cycle management, tradeshow planning, webinar planning, and coordination.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Global Marketing counterparts.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience, preferably in a biotechnology or life sciences industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years in product and/or market management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General knowledge of the Life Sciences market, as well as sales, operations, and marketing functions.
  • Scientific and technical knowledge with the ability to understand and translate technical capabilities into benefits.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Marketing or sales experience in non-Acute healthcare, such as urgent care, retail clinics, physician's offices, and long-term care.
  • Experience driving sales through distribution commercial programs.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication, and demonstrated abilities in organization, prioritization, and planning.
