As a leading manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, we are seeking a talented and driven Process Improvement Engineer I-III.


Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and spearhead process enhancement initiatives within manufacturing operations, focusing on automation, robotics, and digital technologies.

• Provide assistance for current manufacturing processes to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Assess new and existing processes or components for production and assembly, adhering to Design for Test (DFT) guidelines.

• Aid in the development of precise, safe, and cost-efficient manufacturing processes in line with DFT principles.

• Specify and advocate for appropriate equipment and tooling to fulfill manufacturing requirements.

• Address daily manufacturing challenges to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environment (SQDCME) standards.

• Lead teams utilizing Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Global Production System (GPS), Six Sigma, and other relevant tools.

• Flexibly support various value streams to assist different processes.

• Contribute to the Innovation and Automation Strategy.

• Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) team.

Level I
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or an associate degree with 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or equivalent education.

• Basic leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, manage processes, and implement new concepts.

• Fundamental knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving techniques.

• Analytical skills to address minor issues and execute permanent corrective actions.

• Proficient in planning, organizing, and time management with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.


• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, automation, PLC, machine logic, torque tooling, and computer applications.


Level II
• Bachelor’s degree (technical field) preferred or an associate degree with 5-7 years of relevant manufacturing experience.

• 7 years of experience in manufacturing or equivalent education.

• Intermediate leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, manage processes, and implement new concepts, with the ability to lead small groups.

• Intermediate knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving, with the capability to lead teams in continuous improvement projects.

• Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills, demonstrating the ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, functioning effectively as a team player.

• Intermediate knowledge of various processes such as machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, automation, PLC, machine logic, torque tooling, and computer applications.

Level III
• Bachelor’s Degree (technical field) preferred, or an associate degree with 7-10 years of relevant manufacturing experience.

• Strong leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, manage processes, and implement new concepts.

• Extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving, with the ability to lead and mentor teams in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong analytical skills to resolve complex issues, utilizing problem-solving processes to implement permanent corrective actions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

• Proactive and able to take initiative while effectively managing time through planning and organization.

• Comprehensive knowledge of multiple processes such as machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, automation, PLC, machine logic, torque tooling, and computer applications.
