Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Specimen Processing Technician I to join our team at the University of Vermont Medical Center. This role will support the daily operation of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine divisions, performing clerical, technical, and sample processing tasks for the Clinical testing areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage multiple sample types for Surgical Pathology, Cytology, Microbiology, Cytogenetics, and Flow Cytometry
  • Perform clerical and technical tasks to support the daily operation of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine divisions
  • Process and prepare samples for testing
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Laboratory experience preferred
