Senior Accountant

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute significantly to the financial management of a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Operations Management: Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Financial Reporting: Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, providing timely and reliable financial information.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Balance Sheet Management: Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Internal and External Audits: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Financial Analysis and Insights: Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering growth and development.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards, with the ability to apply them in a practical setting.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage accounting projects, with a strong focus on results and delivery.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
