Position Overview

Join the dynamic team at Atlantis Casino Resort & Spa as we seek a talented Visual Communications Specialist. This role is pivotal in crafting and executing innovative designs that align with our marketing and creative strategies, targeting diverse audiences across various platforms. The specialist will work closely with our internal teams to deliver cohesive communication across multiple media formats, including digital, print, video, and animation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop engaging content (video, graphics, visuals, and written materials) for a variety of media channels such as websites, emails, print materials, social media, and video displays.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and advertising teams to identify suitable visual, textual, and animated components for projects.
  • Partner with the internal marketing team to generate impactful visual solutions from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to deadlines.
    • Design logos, images, infographics, motion graphics, and other visual elements to convey a unified message.
    • Conduct in-house photography and videography, including headshots and stock imagery.
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of our brand's visual identity, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand positioning.
  • Proofread and finalize packaged art files for production.
  • Create high-impact, on-brand copy and assets optimized for each media channel.
  • Understand target demographics and utilize media channels to enhance reach and engagement with key audience segments.
  • Stay informed about current technologies and trends in various media channels, design tools, and applications.
  • Produce multimedia assets for use across websites, social media, print, video, and interactive displays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging throughout the organization.
  • Ensure all communications reflect the company's branding while adapting to the evolving visual landscape.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, the employee may be required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; communicate verbally and audibly. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in multimedia and marketing.
  • Proficient in content creation (video, graphics, visuals, and written materials).
  • Experience in graphic design or multimedia design roles.
  • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with publishing and web design, as well as graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign.
  • Ability to effectively present and advocate for design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in responsive, digital, and motion graphics design; proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
