Position Overview:
The role outlined below is pivotal in enhancing our organization's capabilities in climate scenario analysis. This position is primarily focused on supporting various stakeholders and initiatives within the Risk Management sector, while also extending support to other areas of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Spearhead the organization's climate scenario analysis initiatives, including the evaluation of diverse loan portfolios concerning both physical and transition risks.

2. Collaborate with data partners, model developers, and risk management teams to achieve climate scenario analysis objectives.

3. Complete all necessary governance documentation, including model descriptions, procedures, and frameworks.

4. Prepare and deliver presentations on climate scenario analysis and related reports to working groups, committees, and senior leadership.

5. Contribute to additional climate risk-related initiatives within the organization.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

2. A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.

3. Extensive knowledge within the professional discipline and related fields, along with a comprehensive understanding of business strategies and processes.

4. Awareness of the external environment, including competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and strategies to meet client and regulatory demands.

5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex information for diverse audiences and influence perspectives with tact.

6. Strong judgment and advanced problem-solving skills to address unique and complex technical, operational, and organizational challenges in alignment with business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advanced degree in a related field.

2. 15 years of relevant experience.

3. Previous experience in the banking sector, particularly in climate risk, stress testing, credit risk, or regulatory compliance.

4. Relevant professional certifications, such as the GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk certificate.
