Role Summary

As a Lead Financial Risk Analyst at Augmentjobs, you will be instrumental in pinpointing, evaluating, and alleviating financial risks that may affect the organization’s fiscal stability. You will collaborate with various departments, including finance, operations, and compliance, to formulate and execute strategies that protect the company's resources while fostering its growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Evaluation & Analysis: Perform thorough risk evaluations to uncover potential financial vulnerabilities, such as credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks.
  • Financial Forecasting: Create and sustain intricate financial models to anticipate and measure potential risks and their effects on the organization’s financial standing.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Generate comprehensive risk reports and presentations for executive management, detailing critical insights, risk exposures, and suggested mitigation approaches.
  • Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to all pertinent financial regulations and industry standards, remaining informed about changes that could influence the organization.
  • Strategic Risk Management: Partner with leadership to devise risk management strategies that align with the organization’s long-term objectives, including risk appetite and tolerance levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis, with a significant emphasis on risk management, ideally within a corporate or financial services context.
  • Financial Knowledge: Profound understanding of financial principles, risk management methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
