Position Overview:
The role of the Credit Analyst involves providing essential support to Loan Officers and other financial professionals in the analysis, servicing, and reporting of loans and leases. Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to assess borrower creditworthiness.
  • Determining risk ratings for loans and leases based on thorough analysis of collateral and repayment sources.
  • Communicating and guiding internal stakeholders on lending policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with management to develop informed credit decisions and prepare reports as needed.
  • Reviewing and approving loan applications that exceed delegated authority.
  • Ensuring compliance with credit administration practices as per established policies.
  • Assisting senior analysts with complex loan applications.
  • Engaging in the development of lending relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Facilitating the closing of loans and leases through collaboration with management and loan officers.
  • Interpreting legal and title-related inquiries associated with loans or leases.
  • Providing mentorship and training to junior credit analysts.
  • Supporting other team members in project completion as assigned.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of two to four years of experience in credit administration and analysis for commercial and mortgage loans is required. Preferred skills include:

  • General knowledge of accounting and financial systems.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to conduct financial analyses with moderate supervision.
