About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Industrial team at Bristol Industries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide input on qualification plans, ensuring they meet customer and commercial expectations.
- Monitor project performance, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions.
- Support monthly review meetings, ensuring project progress and addressing any shortfalls.
- Identify and report challenges, requesting resources and assistance to meet program goals.
- Monitor and report on design to cost targets, design for manufacturability issues, and product testing requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical data packages, build packages, and product testing requirements.
- Interface with production/operations personnel, including operators, quality inspectors, and shop floor supervisors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of applicable engineering experience.
- Purposeful and impactful communication style, ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
- Solid modeling skills (Solidworks, and linear and non-linear FEA experienced preferred).
- Experience in designing, testing, and launching products into production.
