Customer Experience Associate

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to join our team. As a Customer Experience Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating front-end scanning equipment and cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving concerns in a polite and professional manner.
  • Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash registers, performing all related check-out procedures, including bagging merchandise and placing items in customers' carts.
  • Maintain accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged for all items and proper funds are collected.
  • Stay knowledgeable about weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layouts to answer customer questions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to cleaning schedules and department guidelines.
  • Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and continuously improve job performance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
