Assistant Property Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Sherman Associates. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and ensuring the overall success of our apartment communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate marketing efforts to meet predetermined vacancy standards
Leverage effective advertising and marketing strategies to lease apartments
Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to resident requests
Plan and coordinate resident activities, including Crime Watch meetings and monthly newsletters
Assist with subsidy administration in accordance with HUD rules and regulations
Requirements:
1-3 years of industry experience within residential real estate
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Knowledge of Real Page or other related Property Management software
Understanding of Affordable Housing Programs (HUD/MFHA Programs)
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and safe DMV driving record

Work Environment:
This role operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

Pass a Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR) and have a safe driving record
Meet criminal background screening requirements for position
