Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Human Resources department at the City of Greenville, SC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including data entry, record-keeping, and customer service.
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings, events, and training programs.
  • Process HR invoices for payment and ensure all HR records are properly set up and maintained.
  • Provide technical support to job applicants and new hires.
  • Respond to verbal employment verification inquiries and update employee data in various enterprise systems.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in management, business, administrative support technology, or equivalent.
  • Over two (2) years of high-level related administrative support experience with data entry and intermediate computer skills.
  • Valid South Carolina Class D Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Human Resources office/department.
  • Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certificate.
