Job Overview

The role of the Production Associate II is crucial in the assembly and quality assurance of starter systems. This position involves assembling components and rigorously testing the systems to ensure they meet the established quality and operational standards. The individual will also be expected to acquire knowledge of advanced production processes.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assembling starter systems by adhering to both written and verbal guidelines.
  • Conducting product tests to verify quality and operational efficiency.
  • Identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
  • Participating in the design and testing phases of new products.
  • Gaining proficiency in various production roles and understanding each segment of the assembly line.
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.
  • Meeting production targets within designated timeframes.
  • Ensuring timely availability of materials at workstations to prevent delays.
  • Complying with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Engaging in a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A mechanical background with experience in engine assembly.
  • Experience in engine diagnostics.

Physical Requirements

This position requires moderate physical activity, with most tasks performed in a production setting. Candidates should be prepared to lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly and engage in activities such as walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, and squatting.
