About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our 2nd Shift Manufacturing team at Laborie Medical Technologies Corp. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for placing, gluing, mounting, and assembling sensors and sub-assembling catheters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and prepare 2 component adhesives and silicone
  • Work and handle microscope
  • Backup as additional resource in manufacturing processes, including sleeve manufacturing, bonding of pressure sensor micro chip, and reporting non-conformity product issues to Production Team Leader
  • Adhere to standard production procedures and quality standards for all work performed
  • Follow GMP, Work Safety, and ISO13845 requirements
Requirements
  • Prior assembly experience, preferably in medical device manufacturing
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions
  • Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to effectively use a microscope and miniature tools such as tweezers and scalpel
  • Ability to measure using basic measuring equipment such as pin gages, micrometers, luer taper gages, and rulers
  • Production work with ability to handle physical requirements, including sitting for several hours, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting
